Independent Medical Evaluations
Independent medical evaluations are objective, evidenced-based evaluations conducted by an expert psychiatrist and/or psychologist to answer a variety of psycholegal questions inherent to litigation and may be requested for several reasons. Often, such evaluations often address the psychological effects that often follow a trauma or negligent act committed by another individual. The clinical team at FAF has been retained by both plaintiffs and defendants attorneys to perform in-depth psychiatric and neuropsychological evaluations to assess the existence of any psychopathology and its impact on every domain of functioning to quantify and qualify the extent of any disability.
